I have a confession to make...I eat plant-strong, and I LOVE FOOD!

Oh yes, I have been eating a plant-based diet for over two years now, and I have been so excited at every turn to find others just like me.  People who are eating plant-strong and who really LOVE food and LOVE to cook!

I've discovered over 100 peaceful kitchen warriors, who post their favorite recipes and fabulous photos of delectable dishes online.  A few of these dedicated food artists have made a really decent living out of it, my favorite being Kathy Patalsky, whose blog http://kblog.lunchboxbunch.com/ is out-of-this-world! Gorgeous photos, incredibly savory and satisfying recipes for every time of day and night, casual to formal occasions. Her passion for creative combinations, healthful and delicious food fabulosity gives you reason to celebrate on a daily basis!

This is the first post of many to celebrate my love affair with food, and what an incredible experience it has been to discover how many other people out there are having the same realization. We can eat compassionately AND blow the doors off taste, texture and experience every time we put a tasty morsel in our mouths :)

Feelin' warm and fuzzy and well-grazed(?!?)

Sheep were kept on the White House lawn during WWI to free the gardeners for military service. The sheep of state - which at one point numbered 18 - not only grazed and kept the lawn well manicured, but their wool was auctioned off to raise money for the Red Cross.

Fabulous fact: Indonesia

About 6,000 of the Indonesian islands are inhabited. They are spread out over a 741,100-square-mile area.

Now that's big.
